Off the wagon

Hurting my sternum, probably fighting off a cold, etc knocked my off the wagon this week. Still feeling a little under the weather, but better than Friday night and Saturday. Got a massage on Saturday and my back is hurting less.

Tuesday - gift with the gang. Only did the core and legs, except the shoulder shrugs. Ran after. Nice that the days are long now. Was hurting a little after 30 minutes.

Wednesday- Ran at lunch. 35 minutes. Felt okay. Not great. Group trainer ride. Rode the road bike on the rollers. Decided it would be more comfortable. Road bike is like a Subaru wrx and TT bike is a Lincoln town car. Ride was okay. Back kept getting super tight.

Thursday - nothing. Missed the big bike ride. So tired this day. Big work day and as the day wound down I couldn't even think about anything but going to bed. Fell asleep on the couch but was disturbed by erik and Cory and didn't get much relaxation

Friday- did about 1000 of the swim and them just started to get super tight and sore. Couldn't get the uncomfortableness out of my head. Did the core exercises. Couldn't flutter kick. Hurts super bad. Had dinner with the lab and went for a beer with Peggy afterward. My 60 year old coworker. She has so much strength and wisdom. Love her, but man my back was killing me. Could hardly sit.

Saturday - barely got out of bed all day. Tried so hard to motivate, but was so tired. Spent the evening watching ironman Melbourne. Got motivated again, will see how I feel tomorrow. Might skip swimming and just do the ride. I really don't think I can handle masters yet. This is killing my brain because I hate being away from swimming for so long. The Grizzly is coming up and st George. God damnit. Wish I hadn't been mountain biking. Need to make some more triathlete friends. Those my bikers aren't very accommodating and they always make fun of triathletes.

Sunday - skipped swimming and slept in late. Still not feeling great but motivated anyway. I think it was only 27 degrees out so we didn't get out as far as I wanted to. Did intervals with Bender and Erik. I was grateful came. Went up Story Hill 3x (hill we rode on). Then did two other climbs. Missed one, but I was worked. Didn't feel great. You know the kind of tired when you feel worked but good worked, I felt worked but bad worked. On top of all this I think these longer rides are affecting my asthma. I kept feeling like I couldn't breath.
